Assam Rifles Recruitment Rally 2012 – 242 Tradesmen Vacancies:

 Assam Rifles will hold a Recruitment Rally at Dimapur (Nagaland), NRS-Dimapur and Lokhra (Assam), {NRS-Tezpur/NRS-Rangapara (NORTH) from 18 Jul 2012 onwards and in this context has issued a notification against recruitment of 242 Tradesman Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 19-06-2012. Recruitment Rally at Lokhra (Assam):
1. BB – 14 vacancies
2. Carpenter – 11 vacancies
3. Cook – 51 vacancies

6. Safai – 26 vacancies
7. WM – 08 vacancies

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 18 years and 23 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be pass outs in 10th standard and must qualify the departmental professional Trade Test of the Trade for which the candidate is seeking enrolment.

Application Fee Details: Applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 50/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Directorate General Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong, Code No. 7338. SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Test.

How to Apply: Candidates need to download application format available in the notification, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with DD and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Directorate General Assam Rifles (Records Branch) Laitumkharh Post Shillong Meghalaya – 793011 on or before 19-06-2012.
